July 7: The People We Meet
A Spiritual Reflection from Pastor Won
The people we meet in life hold significant importance as they have the potential to change our lives in such a profound way. For students, the kind of teacher they meet is crucial. For children, the kind of parents they have is vital. For those getting married, praying and discerning for a spouse is a life-changing decision. For a church, who becomes their spiritual leader is critically important. It is equally critical for pastors to find the right congregation. This is all because the people we meet can profoundly impact our lives.
As of July 1st, 2024, I have officially begun my ministry at Thrive Church. I have eagerly anticipated joining this community and am grateful for the warm welcome I have received. I pray that our time together will be a blessing, bringing great joy and glory to God.
Above all, I pray that Thrive Church will become holy ground where we will witness the healing of the brokenhearted, and the restoration of the lost all through the love and power of Jesus Christ. It is truly an honor and joy to serve as your pastor. I am excited about what God has in store for us, and I look forward to our journey together. Let us strive to continue being a community of love and grace.
